Trading Seminar by Dr Anthony Elder

Went to a trading seminar by Dr Anthony Elder at Suntec today. A lot of thanks to Arif that asked me to use his ticket.. This is the first time i’m in such seminar, previously i attended some business and investation seminar (need to differentiate investor and speculator, huh?) Such a perfect time, rite? if you open bloomberg for world index today, you will be amazed to see most of stock market (in fact, barely all) went down! Anyway, I learnt quite a lot from this seminar, but surprisingly, most portion of the infos i got are from my friends Garlia, Tony, and Fudiman who attended the seminar with me..thx bros!

Some important takes (from speaker):

1. anything you wanna do in trading: start small! manage your risk, remember 2% rule and 6% rule! in other word dun be too greedy!

2. the stock may crash, company out of business but market won’t die.

3. Software is just very powerful in financial industry, esp doing technical trading. That makes me appreciate computer engineering and science people more =)

However, i’m just not sure whether i will be considering to become a trader one time..haha.. just dun feel it like “gue banget” for now.
